2020 Presidential Election is Here!
Updated: Oct 11, 2020
Colorado County Clerks have been mailing ballots to all active registered voters for every election since 2013, in addition to providing Voter Service and Polling Centers during early voting and on Election Day. In fact, over a dozen elections have been implemented according to law in this manner. In addition, most Colorado County Clerks have been running all mail-ballot elections in odd years since 1993. Pitkin County community, all of us, we’ve got this!
The Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder, Janice Vos Caudill, recommends the following 4 easy steps:
Go to www.pitkinvotes.com to make sure your mailing address is correct.
Look for your ballot in the mail the week of October 12th.
Use a 24/7 surveillance dropbox to return your voted ballot.
Remember to sign up for BallotTrax at www.pitkinvotes.com!
Voting in Person
Due to the COVID pandemic, if it is necessary for you to go the polls in person to vote, the County Clerk and Recorder encourages everyone to please respect the safety of your community members. While locations have been chosen based on space available to accommodate social distancing, masks will be required for entry. If you need to go to the polls, we encourage everyone to avoid the crowds on Election Day and VOTE EARLY.
