Annual Road Clean-up (1)
It appears that Spring has sprung! Remaining snow patches are mostly gone, and the grass is starting to grow. You are welcome to join us for our annual road clean-up! We'll have a photographer on hand this year to record some moments of this fun event.

About the Event
Date: Saturday April 17, 2021
Time: 9-11:30 AM
Where: Meet at 9 AM at the (“old”) Snowmass Park & Ride to pick up bags and safety vests.
What we’ll do: Since people have already been picking up trash on evening walks, we will concentrate on lower Snowmass Creek Road (from the T intersection to the Conoco), as well as the area surrounding the Park & Ride, the bus stops, behind the Conoco, and the Post Office. If anyone prefers to work on roads nearest their residences, they may choose to do that. (Upper Capitol Creek Road has been covered, down to the T intersection, but East Sopris Creek Road needs help). Trash will be piled up at the Snowmass Park & Ride, and will be picked up by Pitkin County Public Works Department.
Bring: Gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants and shirts, sun hat, sun screen, water bottle.
Weather: If there is new snow on the ground, or it is actively raining or snowing, we will need to re-schedule this event.
